Daily readings and reflections for LENT 2007

We offer you this selection of meditations for each day of Lent. The Scripture references are from the readings for the Masses for each day and are accompanied by a quote from the writings of St. Paul of the Cross, founder of the Passionists.
A suggested method of use for this sheet is to keep it to hand, perhaps by the table where you have your meals, with your Bible at hand as well. Then, perhaps before you begin your meal, or after it's over, to take a moment to read the passage from the Bible, and listen to what God is saying to your heart.
This is just a suggestion - use it in whatever way you find most helpful. The general idea is to "pick a time", "create a space" and open your heart to God's Word.
