MUSTARD SEEDS
I’ve had two recent bits of correspondence, from which I quote extensively:
Dear Rev. Fr. Pat and the Community of St. Joseph’s Parish,
Greetings to you from Our Lady of Velankanny Church, Randham Korattur, India!
We, as parish community of Our Lady of Velankanny Church, would like to thank you sincerely for your contribution in the construction of our St. Gemma school in our Passionist parish. Your donation of € 16,137 is the amount with which we are being able to complete our new school in our parish. It is a great help for us.
The present Tamilnadu Government under which our parish is found had required that all the private schools follow some common rules in order to get approved by the Government. In the past years, we were not meeting their requirements in terms of school building facilities as we were teaching in a limited space of our parish facilities. Now the present school building would provide 10 classrooms, staff room, principle room, two labs, a library, a computer room and a parlour as well as with a good playground.
Thank you so much for your generosity in helping many years of a dream come true. You have made a great a difference in our parish. God bless you and your parish community for your generosity and being part in our Passionist Mission in India.
We assure you our prayers and we appreciate your continual prayers for our mission.
Yours in Christ,
Fr. A. Justin Nelson, C.P.
